Education for a Lifetime

Immaculate Conception Parish offers religious education for preschool, grade school, high school, and adult aged individuals.  Below is a listing of the of educational opportunities available.

Religious Education Program (REP)

Our parish seeks to help all parishioners know Jesus’ love and grow in faith. REP programs strive to offer participants new insights into the message of Jesus, experiences of Christian Community and awaken a call to Gospel service.

We offer two Tri-Parish Programs:

  1. Family Life Program
    Held at St. Charles beginning in September and ending in March. It is a family oriented program and parents are expected to attend the sessions with their children. This program includes Grade 1 thru Grade 11. Mass is said at 4:00pm, followed by a family pot luck, then religious instruction for the appropriate grades and informational program for parents on religion, parenting, etc. This is followed with children and parents coming together for the last half hour.

  2. Sunday Morning Program
    Held at St. Mary beginning in September and ending the middle of April. This program is for the children and includes Kindergarten through Grade 8. Class begins at 9:15am and ends at 10:15am.

Tri-Parish Religious Education Registration:

NOTE: St. Mary also offers a program for children from age 4 through 2nd grade which takes place during the 8:00am Mass. (This program is not for children under 4.) The children go down to Heim Hall during the readings and return to Mass before the petitions. The purpose is to explain to the children in their own words the readings of the Mass.

St. Mary Preschool

A Christian based preschool, offering care and activities that nurture the spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of each child. A well-rounded program for young children. The staff are caring and are trained to provide opportunities for children to experiment, explore, create, and discover.

St. Mary Catholic Grade School

This large elementary school offers a solid education for students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. St. Mary School strives to provide parents and parish the opportunity to create a Catholic Christian learning environment that will foster the growth and education of the whole child.

Catholic Central High School

A private high school for grades 9-12 which is known for its faith, family, academics, athletics, and tradition. The school is run through the collective efforts of many area parishes. Over 95% of the students are involved in extra-curricular activities at the school.
